Hello everyone, NES collection agency is trying to collect a debt that is no longer on any of my 3 credit reports. I told them it is not on my credit report but they said that it will be placed back on if I do not pay. And that a judgment will be placed against me. The creditor took the case to court years ago (2002), but I had nothing to pay so they could not collect. This debt is ten years old. Is what they are saying possible? Can they collect from me even if it is no longer on my credit report?

I have 4 chase credit cards we owe a total of $46,000 with pmts that total $950.00 a mth Can we call chase and ask them to put them all together so we have one lower payment if so who do we call. I want to pay them I just need to be able to pay my electricity bill also. I have never charged off anything in my life so it is quite embarrassing and I don't know who to call or who talk to! im looking to become a cop in new mexico, however one of the requirements is that you can not be more than 500 dollars in collections. i far exceed this amount, and the test is at the end of this month. the next one isnt for a year at the very least. is there something i can do? im thinking consolidate it and show them im at least paying it, but maybe someone out there has a better idea?
