I am going through the same thing, CAR & Assoc. called and said I owed Midland Financial 430.00 and that if I did not pay something that day they would have me served with papers. They actually called my parents house, how they found the number, they are saying they used a skip tracer ?? I am 40 years old and have not lived at my parents for many many years !? And had my parents so upset telling them they were looking for me to serve papers.

Hi all, I'm in the vicious PDL cycle and I am ready to put an end to this mess. I'm in South Caroina and I have 4 PDL's. Three that I applied for and 1 that just showed up in my bank account. I need some help to find out if these companies are licensed in my state. I also need help on how to handle this without closing my bank account. I'm still on chexsystem so a new account will not be opened for me if I close my existing one.

i have had some payday loans and there is a co called american legal services calling and making threats of garnishments and jail if loan is not paid. i can t get any info on the co are they legitimate?
