does anyone have their fax number?

when i am talking with the "recovery department" (it is supposed to be there in the next day or two) is there anything that i can/should ask them to do when setting up (hopefully) settlement or payment plan? as in is there anything i can ask them to list on my credit report or anything like that? thanks for all advice!

I have been out of work for over a year have tried to pay payments but off and on due to finances. Keeping a roof over my families head is important to I have contacted all the credit card companies and explained i told them I was not refusing to pay just couldnt at this time but would honor my commitment when I am employed again, it true and i am sure they dont care, i got a letter from a lawyer yesterday that states they will contact the IRS ??? what about? can they and what can happen to me now....

I have a loan that was co-signed by my two employers. While i am grateful, I only have 8 months left and have told my employer twice now that i no longer want it taken out of my paycheck. I paid on it for 6-8 months and then asked them to just start taking it out weekly from my check. Now this employers is refusing to stop taking it out. Isn't this illegal? I am fed up any help would be great>

They charged me $276.45 for a cell phone bill and they said they were gonna send me a reciept and they never did. what happened?? i need the reciept!

If you have judgments against you from car reposessions, are these able to to be worked out through a debt consolidation?

I was written off as of this Friday per Discover. I have tried to settle for the last 6 months w/ no luck. Recently I was laid off and am receiving no unemployment benefits and have explained to Discover that I am insolvent. Does anyone know what I can expect from the Discover lawyer? I have offered 25% of the $10k owed with no luck. B of A accepted my 22% last year with no hassles. Has anyone had any luck trying to settle with either Discover or their lawyers? What steps should I take at this point?

One more question for today: Given that small business CC accounts don't show on personal credit records until they are in default, and/or a CC co. decides to play hard ball ... ... and that my biz CC accounts are still off my record pushing 90 days overdue (I've checked recently using freebie reports). Is there anyone who has successfully negotiated to keep derog comments off a personal credit report by settling a biz debt before the bank reaches a decision to stick it to you on your personal report?
