I have student loans that originally were 46,000 in 2001 but have grown to 61,000. In 2007 I had surgery that left me unable to work for a period of 1.5 years.The medical bills I had left me with a pile of debt that led me into bankruptcy. However that had no impact on my student loans. And now want to find a job and even have several prospects. I do not want to get to the point of wage garnishment. ECMC has already contacted my last employeer which was my mother. Also my mother would loan me the money but she only has 30,000.

Wold Financial Network Bank called my work cell phone # with an automated message stating that there was an urgent financial matter and that I should call 877-223-6665 immediatley for assistance. That's it, no account informaiton or anything. I called the # and it immediately asked for my acct #...which I don't have since not sure what it's for, and damn sure i'm not going to give them one. Routed me to a live phone agent which could not tell me anything without me giving him personal information. I hung up on him. I can't block the # because it stated unknown. Sounds like fraud to me.

I sent a DV letter in April to CAVALRY PORTFOLIO SERVICE and they never responded until yesterday. I copied the pdf that was sent via email. from what I have read this does not validate the debt. I looked at my husbands credit report and Cavalry is showing on the report. with the collection history of May 2010 to July 2010. I need some help with two payday loans in Texas. VC Funding and Cash Now. i need to find out if they are licensed in Texas. I received a call from someone in an attorneys office trying to collect on these two. She is telling me i have to pay $1357 today or she is going to make my employer pay it. I asked her to send a debt validation letter which she told me she would fax but i still haven't received it. At one time i had about 6 payday loans out back in 2006, and i thought i had settled all my debts with all of them and suddenly 4 years later this woman calls out of the blue.

I have several PDL's and I am planning to close my account tomorrow and send out the ACH Revoke. Does anyone know if any of these are illegal? I am struggling to pay my bills how can I get assistance with a monthly payment loan?

A year ago I closed my checking account do to PDL's. I still owed them money that I didnt have-needless to say I was in the payday loan trap. I went up today and reopened my account now I am worried that these companies can still take money out of my account. Does anybody know if this can happen. Thanks
