I received calls from a William baker from a supposed legal firm by the name of "Crim & Ross" (which doesn't exist)... They stated that they work on behalf of cash jar and that they were looking to get payment on a loan that I have already paid, that if I didn't pay with a debit card over the phone they would garnish my wages! I ignored them because it just sounded obserd that a legal firm would even go as far as asking for payment over the phone. I took my chances with the. So called garnishment because I am currently unemployed. That just made their creditability lesser.

A while back someone posted that there are 2 FBD entities. One is fake and can be found via fdbloans.com. The other is the legitimate bank - fbdel.com. Sold my account to debt collector. Debt collector want's to take me to court for non payment. What to do?

When I was 18, I went off to college like many of my friends. At one point during college, I had over 16 credit cards...and I am not in the least bit exaggerating. WHY, OH WHY would the credit card companies (this was 1993) allow an 18 year old to continue to take out more and more credit cards? For crying out loud, I had a "Nordic Track" credit card...never used it! I just got it to prove a point to my friends! Shouldn't there be a limit? I mean, if I had, had one credit card, that would have been sufficient, but 16+? NOT SO MUCH.

Im trying to buy a house. An old cell phone bill that i never paid is holding me from buying this house. I tried to get in contact with the cell phone carrier, they do not have any records of my bill. It is still on my credit report. How can i get this off my credit report or pay it so it comes off my report?

When I was in college for my masters degree (hard to believe now, considering the debt I put my husband and I in), I used Chase Visa to pay for the bulk of it. We then rolled that debt into our mortgage (paying off credit cards and so on). DUMB MOVE. I just wanted everyone to know...either get financial aid or save up and THEN go to college. Or, if you have a relative who is financially better off than you, ask them for help, if you feel comfortable.
