so i checked my credit report and its horrible. I have bill from years ago, and how do i go about paying them off?

I know someone that it is in credit card debt, alleged credit card debt in his name but not in his actual liabilities. and allegedly in debt to illegal payday loan companies? What happens to the debt if this individual dies? Does manner of death affect the outcome of his debt? I told him I would do my best to find out, the lawyer I contacted would not say much. Answers anyone?

I have taken a loan for 300 thru zip19 pay back 359. I have run into more finance troubles and I can't pay them. I want to revoke the wage assignment. But I don't have an address for them. i have one close, and one that just has..... have been able to do payment plans with the others, but these two just couldn't or wouldn't do anything manageable..... any advise as to what to expect now, what to do (or not to do) would be greatly appreciated.... should i call the one that just did chargeoff and see if any options now or wait to hear from someone? kinda nervous about this.....

Nelly, How do I determine the statute of limitations for a credit card that I have? I fell behind back in 2004, and tried to make payments through a company called PARAGON WAY. But, they never would mail me proof of my original balance or anything showing my payments. Am I still liable for this balance? Thank you, Elizabeth
