I live in Florida and received a call from someone saying I needed to call City Wide about a claim, which turns out to be from a pay day loan. So I called and they have all of my information including references, but I can't remember if I had a loan with the company Integrity Advanced Loans? It seems like they can come after me for the money. City Wide said the Pay Day loan sent me letters, which they never did because I would remember trying to hide something like that from the wife. They said they would serve me papers for something.

applied and approved for a pay day loan on Wednesday Oct 16th..... no monies received yesterday and again today as they promised and their offices are closed??? can't reach them by phone - message says office is closed and to call back on next business day at 8:00 am east cost time. same message from yesterday...what is going on?

My ex needs to get a mortgage to have the house that we own together put into his name only and buy me out of my half of the house. Does anyone have any suggestions about where he should go? We have quite a bit of equity in the home (all of it mine but I think in divorce it becomes half his) so I am trying to help him find a loan, or at least game plan how to QUICKLY build credit so that he can find a loan. He has already applied for a secured credit card, and was told to try for a regular credit card in 6 months. Any other suggestions?

I had a foreclosure over 2 years ago that was rescinded within a few weeks. I still own the house and I still have the same Wells Fargo Loan. Wells Fargo would not remove it from my credit report when I disputed it last year, so before I try again, any suggestions on what angle I should take? If they will not remove it, how long does a Foreclosure affect my credit score negatively? Has anyone else even heard of a rescission? I never have which is why I am asking. Even people at Wells Fargo didn't know what I was talking about when I would call. Thank you for any advice or assistance!

I live in GA, and I have accounts with both PGL and Mobiloans. I have paid at least $400 over the principal amount on each of these loans. I just emailed both companies telling them that I am revoking their ACH privilege to my account, and I plan to fax the same information to them tomorrow, along with a statement (printed from their websites) showing how much money I have paid to them. Once I receive a fax transmission confirmation, I am taking both letters to my bank to be placed on file. Thanks to everyone who has helped me out with their advice on this site.

Good Morning, I had an account with CFNA...my last payment (below the min of only 100$) was received on 9/10/2013. Yesterday I went on to check the account and saw that the balance was 0, and had been charged off. They gave me the number to the collection agency, AllianceOne, who could not locate my account. I read up online, and found that some creditors will reopen the account for payment? Is this true? I guess my question is what are the chances of CFNA letting me pay them directly, without paying the collection agency? Thanks! kristen
