I am sending this to say that I have already sent a payment on my debt and will do another tomorrow when I get paid again??? Tomorrows payment depends on my paycheck but it will be sent???the payment alredy sent was for 150???i will continue to do this until my loan is paid out in full with a payment everyother friday on my payday???this is nastacha spencer

I'm beyond overwhelmed right now and need some guidance. In the past year, my health issues (lupus and a severe form of gastroparesis) have worsened significantly. I have my own business (nonprofit), however I haven't been able to earn any money in about 8 months. We've been living off of my husband's teaching salary, which doesn't cover the bills. We cashed out our Roth IRA's and have cut back on expenses significantly. Our monthly expenses exceed our income.

I have a question my husband and I have quite a bit of credit card debt we would like to get out from under. Altogether, about $15,000 give or take. I have fairly good credit and I don't want to ruin my credit score. But we are tired of being in debt. All of our cards are paid on time for the most part was have a few cards that are a little over limit. What is the best way to reduce our debt without ruining our credit.

I was so upset from their phone calls - to my children, to my elderly mother, even to my son-in-law's parents - that I stupidly gave them a down payment and set up a payment plan. It seemed so legit - they knew my SS#, my work, my address, my mortgage company, etc. Now that I have paid them - is there anything I can do to stop it? and if a close the account, won't they start the harrassing phone calls again? HELP!!!

I recently talked to a debt relief agent and one of the things to do 1st is to stop paying my monthly credit card payments. Let them negociate with creditors. Can I be sued by my creditors at any point during this relief program.

First I am sorry if this is the wrong place for this. A few months ago I got a call from Portfolio saying I owed ~$2100 on a citibank account and how would I like to resolve said debt. I "disputed" the debt (their words not mine, I honestly had no idea what's going on) and they sent me a letter asking for docs as to why I don't owe said money. I didn't know how to do this, so I (stupidly) ignored it. Fast forward a bit and I get a second call (probably 2 months later) and I guess the debt is back in collections at the process starts over.

How do I make a settlement offer with a Collection Agwncy/Lawfirm that has a judgement against me? What amount should I offer to settle for paying on a 1600 debt

Hello, I applied for a loan with getecash.com. They issued me a loan and said I was approved for 250.00 but when I read the signed elctronic contract it says 300.00 and I have to pay back 399.00. On top of it I emailed them about it and said 250.00 was the amount lended but they have refused to issue me a contract showing I only was loaned 250.00. I live in Missouri. What do I do to prevent myself from being over charged.

I was contacted in Jan 2010 by a collection/law office Pressler& Pressler regarding a debt I owed. I made an arrangement to pay a specific amount monthly until the debt was resolved. I was told that if I defaulted on the payments my wages would be garnished which I understood. The law office/collection agency sent me paperwork to sign stating that I agreed to the terms, I signed the paperwork and it was sent to the civil court to be filed. I made my first payment in Feb 2010 and have made payments every month since on time.
