When I was wonder I had some terrible luck which is burdening me now even though I'm in a much better position. Over the past couple of years I've managed to tackle my massive debt and consolidate it down. I still have two open accounts, both with collection agencies: -One with Verizon Wireless in the amount of $400 - it was $800 but back in 2008 I started paying VZW directly until they sold the account to a collection agency.. the $400 is left -One with a CA due to a bad roommate situation at an apartment complex. It's in the amount of $374 All of my other accounts are paid in full.

I'm ready to enroll in a debt mgt with Debthelper.com, a non-profit. It seems legit. Can you provide me some advice please? I have about $50K in debt. It'll cost $1K/month for 5yrs to get out of debt w/ the debt mgt. nonprofit. They'll charge me $35/mon to manage my payments.

I sent Resurgent a CD and they responded with a letter confirming the CD and validated the debt with just my name and the amount. Now I have received a dunning letter from the dreaded Richard J Boudreau office. Is there a point to send a DV? i dont know how to consolidate my private student loans

I have three outstanding payday loans, two of which aren't past due yet, the other one is and I am being harrassed and threatened every day by them. Can I get all three loans consolidated

i have not worked in 6 months..though i believe i got a $13 dollar an hour job today but still, 23,000 is huge i talked to moneymanagement credit counsiling, and she suggested bankruptcy....though she said if i could get $400 more a month than unemployement, i could go for debt management.... problems- my priority is for some schooling right now,, ,because i cannot be a certified nursing assisstant much longer, i am 59,,just getting to hard...so the next year and half may be some schooling since its been 6 months , i am sure the debt went to credit collection.... what are my options... b

Do you believe as I do, That all debt relief agencies are a fade. That has suddenly emerged to take advantage of the millions of americans. Who are facing serious debt due to loss of jobs and other income related issues.

i have a guy that is trying to cash a 12,800 dollar check and its from bank of america. there is no bank of america where im at. Could he still sign it over to me and then i can cash it at my bank?

As creditor on ch7 , can I object by myself or must have an attorney, how about paralegal? I shop around and it's costly!
