what are the laws on payday loans in texas and what can be done to stop them from taking money out of my bank account

I contacted Advance America (store front) today to ask about an Extended Payment Plan. They said that in the state of KY extended payment plans are not allowed. Has anyone else ever been told that? I have a call in now with their corporate office to see if I can work something out. Hoping that the person in the store was mistaken. Does anyone know anything about EPP? Thanks!!

I have a question, i missed the date for court on a past due credit card from 2005. So they made a judgement that I paid. When I tried to contact the attorneys and place where i recieved the summons they number is no longer in service. I also tried to call a 800 number that was on there as well. That number has been disconnected as well. What do I do now? How do I pay it if the attorneys at law that sent the summons is disconnected and when I called citibank they have no record? thanks

I really need help with my payday loans. I'm noticing that all of the consolidation companies require you to close your bank account. I have been with my bank for years and am in good standing with them. I don't want to close my account. This will be hard because they offer Direct Deposit advance of up to $500 at a cost of $50 which I have had to take advantage of every pay period. When my check get deposited its already short $550 plus I have $3000 in payday loans. The fees take the rest leaving me with nothing for bills.

Question? I recently got my credit report for the year and I found a bill on my report that I thought was paid . I even got a paid in full letter from the agency. How can I make sure that the collction agencies listed on my report are acuurate? and, what is the precedureto take when dealing with these kind of problems?

I received a similar call from Law Firm indicating that I owed Quick Cash Net money for a Loan. Would not provide specifics of the Loan or account informaiton and was told the same as Thomas. The difference is I did not apply for the Loan and I asked him "Law Firm" if he would please give me the telephone number for Quick Cash Net to contact them and retrieve information on when the loan was placed and was it in person or by Internet. He said he could not do that because it would be a conflict and that I could only speak with him.
