She left a voicemail saying that I had a case number and she was going to serve a summons for me for check fraud and contract obligation. She gave me a number to call. My sister calls a minute after and says someone called my cell phone (she has my cell phone right now, we're in the midst of some family health issues, so she answered it) and the lady told HER the same thing and told her to have me call. SO I call the number. It's "SSA Group".

I sent a C&D letter to Wagesfast.com and this is the response I received from them: "The Loan Agreement, to which we have adhered to by funding the loan, detailed that your loan was subject to the Laws of Cyprus, a fact by which you confirmed your understanding and acceptance of via the online signature you made. Please note, we are not a US company, have never prescribed to be a US company and have no US presence. Please refer to your copy of the Loan Agreement. Under the terms of the Agreement you agreed to make payments via ACH until the loan balance was satisfied in full.

I am a florida resident, i have 6 loans out and 4 of them are old. I have been getting several calls from collection agency what should i do? I have already closed my account. I am thinking about going into a payday loan consolidation. My loans are with arrowhead which is from last year i paid them at least 180 for a 300 loan, loanpoint usa (last year) paid them at least 90 on a 100 loan, united cash loan (last year) paid them 100 on a 150 loan, ameriloan (last year) same as united cash loan, cash supply same as ucl, m1y direct is new i borrowed 200 didnt pay them or djr group.

If I have a pay day loan that goes to collections and I paid if before knowing that there was all of the stuff that I could do with the illegal PDL lenders is there a way that I can get that money back or am I pretty much out of luck on that?

I was finally able to settle with Chase at 35% of my $14K balance at approx 120 days.

Has anybody ever settled a store card with World financial bank? I have a $5K balance from a furniture store. I have an extreme medical hardship which caused me to lose my job, so no money coming in. There is not much info in settling with this company. I need to settle this for 30%.

Took out a loan with PDLY in December, was laid off in January. Spoke to PDLY to let them know I had been laid off and would like to set up a payment plan...they just said they wold extend it for a fee every month...so I did that for the 2 or 3 months that they allow. They haven't left messages with details because they say they don't have to so I never called them back. Yesterday, Paul Webb with Edison, Patrick and Associates left me a message telling me that it was the last day he could help me and that I needed to call him back. I called and they were the rudest people.

Does anyone out there know what the statute of limitations is on private non-government guaranteed student loans? I know that the time varies from state to state, but does the time start from the date the loans were dispersed, the date they came into repayment or the date the payments were stopped being made?

I had recently posted regarding several online payday loans I had and first i want to say thank you for all the information. None of the companies are liscensed in Nebraska so I contacted my bank, closed my account and sent alll the companies letters via email. Several have continued to contact me by telephone stating they received my email (apparently they didn't read it because it said not to contact me by phone) and one sent an email response.
