My mother-in-law received a phone call from this number 904-758-5980. They asked for my husband. She thinks they said there were from Citigroup? They told her that he had to call them back within 24-48 hours, with a lawyer. They also mentioned something about a restraining order??? Has anyone heard of this? I'm guessing it may be a VERY old credit account, bought by a collector? But I've never heard of these particular tactics before...

I owe for an apartment I left in baltimore. I finally have the money, but they want to sue with legal and court fees. I don't have the fees. Is there any way to pay what I owe w/o paying all the legal fees?

I live in PA and have a storefront pdl with CheckSmart in Ohio. My loan is due on July15th. I won't have the money to pay this I just closed my bank account because of online pdls. I have a personal loan with HFC for 22k. Huge interset rate. They offered an initial hardship program for 6 months, but at the end of that time would not extend it. I am facing foreclosure on 2 properties, am in danger of falling behind on my primary residence. I have a job that may terminate in September. My monthly pay is less than my mortgage. I can pay HFC $200 per month with great difficulty, but they won't negotaite and keep harassing me. Can you recommend a well-rated A rating deb settlement company with contact information? Please suggest something ASAP!

Hi, I currently have 4 online payday loans: Loan Shop 250 borrowed 75 paid UsFastCash 400 borrorowed 120 paid One click Cash 450 borrowed 725 paid The Cash Spot 600 borrowed 450 paid I have previously taken out loans with each of these companies and repaid in full. I can't however continue to make these current payments without falling completely behind on other bills. I am more than willing to pay them all what I owe, but can't do so twice a month and at such high interest. Should I contact them and try to work out monthly payment arrangements or will they not accept my offer?

I would like ask you for advise. One item on my TU credit report shows "Foreclosure" and "foreclosure initiated; closed 08/2008". I sold my home in short sale, which is not showing on my credit. So question, what should I do with this problem, do I have any legal ground to request removing this item from my credit report ?
