My attorney sent them a letter that more or less said validate the debt and I am authorized to offer you a sum of $X which was about 65% of the original debt and about 48% of the current debt.

How do I get our business number removed from the automated telephone systems used by debt collectors? Our policy does not allow employees to receive personal calls at work unless it is an emergency and the constant calls are an interruption to our business. I have tried filing a complaint with the FCC and the FTC to no avail.

So I just looked up my state(AZ) which says LEGAL, doesnt specify anything about internet or not. Just last month AZ did away with payday loans. So Speedy Cash turned my payday loan into an installment loan. Anyone know anything about that? It also states one loan at a time. Can I get in any trouble for having signed more than one agreement?

I have my credit report from Experian and on some of my accounts there is note that says "this account is scheduled to continue on record until Jan 2013". This is listed as "status details" but not all of my accounts have this notation. How can I figure out when the account will be past the 7 year mark? Several of us have received a fax from NCO outlining our settlements with Amex, for whom they were collecting. There is no question that they were assigned by Amex to collect. However, the verbage in the letter is concerning to me. It reads something like this: Fax from NCO: Pursuant to your agreement, we can offer you a settlement of $xxxx due by xx/xx/201.
