Does Bank of America/ARS collection agency sue over approx. $6000 in debt?

Hi. I'm Chris. I live in Kansas and have 5 payday loans and 1 in Missouri. (I live in kansas city so am able to do both.)

As you can see I have a few, and each one was taken out to pay the other one off. I am now having problems with my own bills by having to pay 700 a month in fees just to keep reopening them.

Filed Chapter 13 bankruptcy June 09 and listed BOA as creditor. They filed a claim against my bankruptcy like they are supposed to. Thought that was end of story. WRONG. Two days ago CFG started calling my daughter harrassing her. She was primary and me authorized user on the BOA credit card. They told her it didn't matter that I filed chapter 13 since SHE did not file chapter 13. That is not right. BOA could have done something before now but they did not - they filed a claim.

I have some large debt on my AMEX due to internet gambling. After reading posts here I was wondering what would be the result of saying to AMEX that all of these charges are not authorized and not to pay them? We are talking 20K here. The gambling site does have a photocopy of my AMEX and drivers license..so thinking I cant go this route. Just trying to dig out of the hole I created for myself.

Is it better for your credit score to pay off 2 credit cards totaling $25000 or one unsecured line of credit totaling $25000? Can anyone explain how that works?

How do I begin to get out of debt once I already have several bills in collections, including medical bills..........

Hi Guys, The other day we were talking about their new ways to state things when they used the term 'stabilize my account'. Today I called them and the update is that my second settlement offer of 27% was denied. I usually get very nice people but didn't like this one, she wasn't able to listen at all and just followed her script. Asked me my phone and email address again, they don't usually do this and finally I did get irritated and tell her 'nothing has changed' and I have to go. But the new one she thew at me today was that she wanted to transfer me to the HIBAR dept.

I have a Target National Bank card that is 7 or 8 months past due. They just turned me over to CIR, Law offices. I asked about settlement and they said they can only offer 75%. Target had even offered me less at 60%.. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to preceed to get a lower offer. Thanks

I was served with a court date next week, but have been paying consistent monthly payments to Blatt for the last six months with no lapse.....do I need to show up for court and if so, what do I need to bring with me?
