hello all, i received a phone call today from a mr shapiro today about a loan that i took out back in 2006 for 300.00 of which i had paid 355.00 now they want to sue me. and then he claimed that there was some type of investigation being done on me that i was engaging in fraudulent activiteis and that i would have to appear in court on May 28 before the judge and that if i lost i would have to pay in excess of 2000.00 so i listed to what he said i did not argue with him but i will be talking to an attourney tomorrow in the mean time i did file a complaint with the federal trade commition.

How many times can a debt collector make contact in a 30 dy period?

I have been trying to find this tel # for over 6months, cant get in touch with them. I received a letter from RMCB stating accnt trans to Pinnacle Credit services, but RMCB whose tel# is 1-914-345-7136 says for me to go online and find it myself!.......AND I STILL CANT FIND IT.

Between my wife and I we probably have around $30,000 in debt. I had some short late payments in the past and my intrest rate went up. I am not late on any bills for awhile now but I am just making it by with minimum payments which are not doing any damage at all. Can anything really be done in this scenirio as I know they do not work with you unless you are 60+ days late. These are primarily with BOA and Citi.

Hi Everyone, I recently settled Chase and Citi for under 30% and am very pleased. Yay me. I have not, however had much movement with a Wells Fargo Line of Credit (unsecured) or Wells Fargo Credit Card. we have passed the 180 day mark. I seem to be stuck at around 35% on the line of credit which works out to about $8300 and really no offer on the card (owe about 13k) Has anyone had any success settling with Wells? (this is not WF Financial) Is 35% good? I don't have experience doing this beyond the Chase and Citi. Any advice is helpful and welcome, thank you!

I have the following debts on unsecured credit 18K (personal loan) 24K (CC) 6K (CC) 10K (CC) 10K (CC) 14K (CC) BoA - my name 4K (CC) BoA - my wife's name (10 k limit) I am just becoming late on these bills as of this month. I need to resolve this - either put them all in a DMP or attack them individually. My DMP sounds pretty good, $1900 for 47 months. I have two BoA cards as noted, and my DM contact is telling me that BoA won't let me keep one of the cards out of the program. I'm thinking my only option is to keep the BoA cards out of the program and go directly to them.

I have a company that has violated this law. They have harrassed, threaten me about my SSN saying they will destroy my SSN, they have said that they will have me locked up either at home or on my job. This company have said threaten me by saying that I will loose my job and that my life and career will be destroyed. When they call they alway say this is the Crime Prevention Center. This company have said that I'm writing bad checks(which I don't even own any checks), that I'm causing bank fraud.

Does anyone have a good, working fax # for Sagamore loan company? I can't find them ANYWHERE on the internet - the fax # listed on their loan docs isn't working for me. Tried to use it a few months ago & when i called them they told me it never works - we handled my issue on the phone so I never got a good # out of them. I really don't want to call them and ask them for a good fax # as it will just bring attn to my acct which i don't want. I'll be closing my bank acct on thursday & faxing/emailing my letters on Friday - just trying to get everything in order.
