I have $16,000 in credit card debt. Will it disappear after 7-10 years, or will it follow me forever?

I was wondering if someone can tell me if LOANPOINT USA is illegal in my state of FL. I just got a call from Chris Black and he states that they have filed a complaint against because I took a PDL for 770.00, which doesn't not make any sense to me. I have had a PDL but not for 770.00. He gave me his phone number which is 904-418-5000 x 132. I explained to him that I just rcvd a letter from a collection agency 2 days ago in reference to loanpoint usa and now he is calling stating something has been filed. If anyone can give me some insight I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

I have a prepaid telephone. Allied Interstate is running out my balance with their regular calls. i have no idea whom they are trying to reach. It's certainly not me. Verizon will lose my business because I'm not getting my money's worth on the prepaid telephone. This collection agency is draining my $100 prepaid, occasional use telephone with their misdirected calls.

I blurted out to my wife last night that we are in real financial difficulties.....it was pants, he was great...but I have never felt so defeated, ashamed, useless, a failure etc. It's not like me, but our whole debt situation has got so out of hand. I'm glad I found this forum, makes a very stressful time seem a bit easier. Lots of great information here. I am currently 20k in debt, between credit cards and student loans. I am unemployed and have had a hard time finding a steady job due to the terrible economy here in California. I am living off various side jobs, but that is barely making the normal day to day bills. I have talked to a credit counseling agency, who told me my debts are too far in default and they can't help me, which obviously was not very helpful or encouraging at all.

Hi, I recently stumbled upon this site and it seems like a lot of people have found answers to their PDL dilemma. I have 8 outstanding payday loans and is up to my neck in debt and have been running behind paying all my other bills. I am at least 4 months behind on bills and have quite a few of them in collections. For starters, are PDL legal in NY state? I have read somewhere that they are not and I am just wondering as to why such companies are able to give out loans. I really want to get out of paying these payday loans and is there any way to go about them?
