I'm collecting my paperwork together for my bankruptcy and I'm missing my 2008 tax returns because they were destroyed in a flood that hit my home. I told my attorney this and he told me that we can work around this using my 2009. Have any of you heard this? I thought the last 2 years tax returns were needed.

I applied for a payday loan. I didn't get the loan, but a few days later, a lot of charges appeared on my bank account. I know one of the was for a Platinum Web Service ($99). The others had no name. What can I do? They claim I bought these services, but I didn't.

Hello, Has anyone here delt with a company called Loanpoint USA? I borrowed 300.00, but have paid them $450.00. They aren't very cooperative over the phone. I'm in Albany, NY.

After 60-90 days the questions are starting to come fast and furious about employment, house payment amounts, electric bill, car payments, income... I know that general evasiveness seems to be the rule but how much of this can you answer in the "spirit of cooperation" and how much should you be silent about?

I am currently in about 35,000$ worth of credit card debt but I have an excellent credit score. I dont want to ruin that but after making my payments and trying to pay a little more I end up living in my credit cards until the next pay day...Im not sure if I should do consolidation or if there is a way I can negotiate with creditors myself???

I live in florida and have several pdls. I have tried to contact the companies and can not get through. the numbers that appear on my statements either are busy all the time or I get an automated message telling me all operators are busy. I have tried to have the payments stopped from my bank and they tell me they don't get involved with pdl issues to contact the numbers provided. (my bank is chase) then companies are pdlnow, acecash, one that appears as ssm services, and signmyloan. Does anyone have any suggestions?

What ar the garnish wages in SC.

I've read where you should black out certain information when you need to show things in court. For instance, on your bank accounts - I think you're supposed to black out your account number and/or social security number if it shows and only have your name visible. But, how about if you want to show something on your credit report? Is that okay to show everything? :cool:
