Basically, I'm wondering how someone would find out where I bank, beyond a credit check. I'm being sued over a credit card debt, and with the court date coming up I'm concerned about my bank account being frozen. I read that they could find my bank account through my credit report, so I got my free credit reports to see if it showed up there.

Would you give more information on a debt validation letter? My elderly mother received a letter from RJM acquistions with her wrong name on official looking billing statement and a partial SSN that is not hers. She never made these purchases they are claiming that have not been paid since 1997. Sounds like ID theft to me! Thank you for your information.

I have a huge debt in credit cards: BOA - c.a. 20 K WACOVIA - 7.5 K SEARS - 5.5 K BANAMEX USA - 4 K I got an agreement with BOA to pay $270 a month for one credit, and I keep on paying about $90 a month for the other. I am paying about $130 a month for Wachovia, and the minimum for the other two credit cards. I have a steady job, but it is hard for me to keep on paying. What would it be the best solution for that?
