I am refusing to pay my credit cards... I have about 25,000.00 in debt. All Credit cards. I am not going to get into why I am refusing to pay. I am single, self employed. I work out of my fathers business, I use his shop tools.. I live in my fathers home, "the basement" pay no rent. pay nothing for food. So basically I get to use his shop and help him with his projects, for room and board. I own no car, I use my fathers second car thats under his name. Also in 2007 my fathers property was reevaluated for city tax.

Can a writ of garnishment that was obtained on a judgment for personal debt be used to seize my business accounts that are formed under an LLC?

I have not received a summons yet but there is one filed for credit card debt and there is no Certificate of Service filed as of yet. I have arranged to make monthly payments to the company. Will I still get the summons and why. I live in CA. Please help. Thanks

I recently spoke to a debt collector about an auto loan he said I tookmout in 2006, I told him I never had an auto loan with this Co. then I asked what is the year, make, model of the car, and what is the initials of the person on the loan documents he got very mad and said if he looks up that info I will have to pay the balance in full I told him he was crazy!!!!

Does anyone know of a way to get the "attorneys" representing LVMV to consider hardship reductions on levies on accounts. A client of my office, this is a query at no charge to the client, recently had the federal tax refund they received seized by court order by the firm representing LVNV. This client is a single mother earning $400/month in earned income and $19/wk in child support. She has major medical issues and has been hospitalized frequently, the most recent being last Thurs for two days.

I have question... am getting sued for debt in TX by Dodeka. It has been a little over 4 years since the last payment was made on the account to Chase. And it is my understanding the SOL in TX is 4 years... do Judges uphold that law, or is there a chance they could still rule for plaintiff???

I have a loan with Beacon Payday Loan and I spoke with sherry when I saw that 50.00 and then 89.00 was taken from my account. My question is Are they suppose to take the 89.00 and 50.00 for principal because it seems as though its double the money I actually borrowed. Please need an answer Asap before my next pay cycle.

I live in Ohio and I received a letter from the courthouse wanting me to respond to a court summons for a loan i took out last year (i didnt pay it because i was totally broke and i had like 6 more loans out and i just couldnt afford it anymore). The loan amount is $400.00 and they want a respond by May 18th (next Tuesday).I took the loan out @ Cashland. How do i respond (format and what to say), should i respond or not ? whats going to happen. ? FYI- I'm filing for bankruptcy in the next couple of months. Has any one heard of Consumer Debt Help Association? I've been pitched by them and they seem honest compared to other companies. The reason I ask, other companies charge a retainer fee and Consumer Debt Help doesn't. Does that sound right?
