I e-mailed and faxed Ameriloan requesting a PIF and refund because they're not licensed to lend in Utah. It's been a couple weeks and I haven't heard anything from them directly. However, today I received a notification from the BBB letting me know Ameriloan had responded to my complaint against them. This was the response: "To Whom It May Concern: We recognize this complaint as a response to information circulating the Internet. This information is full of mis-leading and inaccurate statements.

My Advanta account was truned over to Phillips & Choen about 2 months ago....keep harrassing me but now have offered roughly 35% settlement on roughly $19K....My question is are they legit? Has anyone on this board recently settleled with them and if so is there anything i need to know or be careful of....any advise appreciated!
