How does this company obtain names and phone numbers of "relatives" that owe debt? I recieved a phone call yesterday from this company and they were looking for a "family member" of mine to settle a business matter. The "family member" is my brother's father-in-law that I have only met once at my brother's wedding 6 years ago. I do not have the same last name nor do we live anywhere near each other (I live 3 states away). So, how did they find my name and number with any connection to this man?????

Hi Nelly, I have a credit card debt close to $24,000 from 5 credit cards (of three companies -- Chase, Capital One and AmEx). I have been paying the minimum balance until Oct of 2009 but now have no balance in my bank account! I do not have a job in the US and in fact I have come back to my country to work. However, I do not want to cheat and run away from the creditors. I hope to come back to the US someday and would not want negetive points on my credit score and on my credibility. However, i do not have any money left in my bank account so i cannot pay anymore.

now i do have an outstanding bill from this company from 11 yrs prior, as well as, a current srevice from this very same company,though in another state, for 2 yrs now.. and I get this letter in mail from afni. on 1/26/ '10 saying ,I have a current balance of 334.76 with settle offer for 50.00 .....seems like a cheap settle.. which got me curious on the credibility of this orginization...what should I do?? thanks for any advice

Right now I have four local storefront pdl's, I will mention that I live in Kansas. I also have an internet pdl with CashNet USA that I have been able to make in installment payments with the 3rd and final payment being on the 19th of this month. On one of the storefront loans here in my hometown, I've been able to come to a payment agreement with them with the payments to be every two weeks in the amount of 141.25 and the second payment comes due tomorrow, unfortunately I don't receive my paycheck until Friday the 16th.

I am in a bad situation and need some advice on what I can and should do. I live in Tennessee. I have 13 PDLs. I know this is a horrible amount of payday loans to have but I have gotten in too deep and need a way out. Just the interest on these PDLs is taking my whole check every week. I have paid several PDLs off but then I end up getting new ones because I need money for bills. That is why so many of them appear to be recent. I paid the previous loan off and then got a new one after the 3 day waiting period.

How do I get a statement from you? It says on my credit report that I owe you $61.00. How do I pay you?
