i recieved a collection letter from this company. zwicker & asso. my credit card via bank of america was settled in court in 2007. i make agreed upon monthly payments to the court. the court then sends the payment on. i have documentation from the court for every payment i have made, but they are threatening to take me to court again. can they do that after a settlement has been agreed upon via court and i have never failed to make a payment on or before the due date. i dont know what to do should i respond to them or wate to be summoned to court again.

My husband and I filed two weeks ago and he is still having wages garnished! It started out with an account we owed 3800 dollars on last year they took it and we thought it was done paid. Then all of a sudden this collection agency says we owe 109.00 more dollars once they start getting some of our other accounts. So now we felt our only option was bankruptcy to stop it and get a fresh start we got a loan modification on our house and just filed our debt.

Has anyone had any experience with moving the file from the regular collection unit to the BK unit? I had consulted a bk attorney back in January and had told Cap One that I had done that. Well yesterday I got so frustrated that I told them that I wanted to give them my attorney info. They didn't want to take it but finally did. Doing this will stop the calls they said which would be good since they were calling every hour on the hour even if I had already talked to them that day.

I received a call @ work and the message said according to State & Federal laws due to the sensitive nature of this call we are unable to disclose an further information, either you or your attorney need to contact our office referring to your docket # . The caller never said where they were calling from and when I tried to google the number nothing came up Does anyone know this number and what do they mean by a docket # ? I have the docket # is there any way for me to look it up and see where & who it came form.

I need help and advice. In August of last year, my husband and I had to file bankruptcy. The consumer law center let us down and took all our money. In the bankruptcy, we signed a reaffirmation form to keep our vehicle. We still made the payments and drove the vehicle. Up until two months ago. My husband got laid off and we were not able to keep up with the payments. So I contacted Wachovia Dealer Services. Wachovia did sell the vehicle at an auction. Now we have a collector coming at us for $2000. WE do not have it. I do not know what to do... Can I call my bankruptcy lawyer?

I got a settlement offer of 35% from chase last week for $9000 balance just 90 days. They called again this morning and I offered 25% and the CSR ask her manager and immediately counter offered 30% for 4 installments. It sound like pretty good deal to me, so I accepted. I got other two accounts to settle but so far chase is the best one. They are very nice and never been hash or pushy. AE is the exact opposite. There are one lady been very rude to me. It is a big balance 30K. The best they offer is 65% right now. I am on payment program with BOA before.

Sued by HSBC - no point in haggling over legitimate debt, SOL, and the like. It's legit and rightly owed. I've been sent a consent judgement to sign and return to the atty office, and the paper only says the judgment is for the amount owed (xxx) plus additional attorney profit. ok. There was a cover letter that said their client "will accept $xxx" monthly. Now, this isn't written into the legal document.

I had a medical bill that was not covered by my insurance at the time without my knowledge. The claim was returned stating "unauthorized." This was in 2001, and in 2006 or 2007, not quite sure, my tax refund from the state started being taken for the bill. During the time from when I had the hospital visit up until that point, I had no knowledge that the bill was not covered, and had no opportunity to dispute it. What the bill is almost complete, but I am wondering if there is a statue of limitation on this bill and if I can get my money back?

I have $33,000 in credit cards with USAA and $34,000 with Navy federal credit union credit cards and a line of credit of $7500 with Navy federal. I don't have the money to pay them and I just missed my 1st payment with USAA. USAA have been calling me all day I just did not pick of the phone. Anybody have any experience with navy federal credit union. I have Home Equity Loan with navy federal, that I know I have to pay, but my credit cards I will not pay. Anybody got sued by Navy Federal or USAA, I will keep you posted on what happpens.
