I'll try to make this short. We were on vacation last week in Florida and noticed that our bank account has been reduced to ZERO. When I called Chase bank, they told me the NY state tax department put a levy on my account. This came as a total shock to me. I received no prior notice. They gave me a number to the tax department, however we could not get through because apparently they don't allow you to call from a cell phone. So we had to reactivate a credit card just to get home basically. When we got home on Monday, I called.

Can anyone share with me what happens after you answer a summons from Target National Bank? I am being sued while in a debt settlement program. I know that is a risk but am looking for info if anyone has been through this.

Today I settled my account with BOFA. 25.22% in two payments. Account was 2 days from charge off (supposedly). Asked if I could make one lump sum payment and reduce the settlement. Said 25.22% was the lowest they could go. Glad to get that weight off my shoulders! Now 100% debt free.

I missed my citibank credit card payment for about 10 months, started having some income again and called the the credit card company, the refer to the Debt collection law firm (not citibank), which informed me that recently I got sued at local court and offered if I want to settle the debt ($14000) with a reduced amount of $10,000 and spread out 12 payments, payment to citibank. In panic I agree to that agreement. They are sending the papers work.

I am behind on our 2009 [COLOR=black]Maintenance[/COLOR] fee of $666 (the timeshare is paid) now the collection agency Aspen wants $963. they said because the timeshare is (non Profit) LMAO they cannot reduce the fee. has anyone been able to do a settlement with timeshare [COLOR=black]Maintenance [/COLOR]fees??? thanks for your help

Hey, this happens to be not working for me recently on www.debtconsolidationcare.com. If my post is longer than the screen (when I am typing), the text area scrolls to the top and you cannot see your typing and it is really hard to edit posts. This also happens if a post is longer than this text screen is and then I can't seem to see the ending at all while typing as it scrolls up. Any recomendations?
