I have a question. I have been helping my mother deal with a mistake of Bank of Americas from 2007, thankfully she saved all proof that it was a Bank of America mistake. We thought this had been resolved in 2008. Now in 2009 she started getting calls and letters from Stevens and Michaels LLC, Resurgent Capital and LVNV Funding-during this time I researched and found they were all part of LVNV Funding. They were each sent CMRR letters for debt validation and sent proof of Bank of Americas mistake and correction.

Are debts that are over 7 years old considered obsolete? If a collection agencey keeps filing a new debt (that is just a rehash of an old one) over and over again how can I force it to be dropped from my credit report?

Has anyone had any good experiances with pdl on loan cosolidation? i need out of this mess please tell me they all are not bad experiences

Hi Everyone! [SIZE=3]Sometime ago I posted a plea for help, as I had been served with a complaint (lawsuit)by CACH,LLC on a alleged credit card debt,..with a company I have never heard of (METRIS). I responded to the complaint,...then responded to their request for Discovery (in Nevada on civil or small claims you have to ask permission to do discovery) they did not attach a order,..so it just sat there for almost 80 days.

Also have a collection on my credit report. Collection companies name is MARAUDER CORPORATION . Not sure what payday loan turned me over to them but will find out.

this is a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they have called me twice within 10 minutes...saying they have an urgent matter for my husband to discuss regarding sbc bank.. did we get their letter? No no letter and they mentioned some address that we have never had and said.."that's probably why you never received the letter"...wow.....we have nothing to do with sbc bank, my husband and I have no debt to be collected. I told them they were scamming for something and the lady said this is being recorded like I care!!!! I don't know who sbc bank is...all I could find was some bank in asia...what a crock!

so i got a call from a man named Michael Carter saying that I was being sued for not paying my payday loan. now I havent paid for about a month and I cant even find this payday loans phone number and they dont have a website. Well this man calls me and says im due in court next week unless I can pay $800. and give them a notarized letter that I am auth this deb transaction and that I will not dispute it later. is this real can they really do that. They have left me threatening msg and even called my old job and cursed at one employee.
