How do I get them to make my account deposit only or block all debits? I have tried everything, gone into several branches, called customer service and all have told me the same, they can't block them or make my account deposit only
We have 4 CC totaling $85,000 in debt. We are on Hardship Program for Citi and Chase, another is a small payment so that one is not bad and Discover I'm about to miss a payment. I'm late on car payment and we owe the IRS which we have no choice to pay each month. I have deferred Student Loan a year which is good.
The Hardship Program for Chase only lowered payment by $40 but rate went down to 2.9% and Citi went to 0% and payment went down $200 to $646.
We have only been on program 2 months but are still having a hard time making payments. We are left with very little to live off of.
I have been away for a while and today I come back and there is a ton of spam that got through moderation! Holy Moly! I tried to delete it but there is so much of all varieties! Any clue?

I know I am kinda ahead of the game but my son fell ill and I needed money and this was my only solution.
I have asked several questions on the legality of pd loans in NYS. Can someone please post the law part that I need to add into my letter? I have read pages and pages of these posts and seem even more lost than when I started lol What do I do if they tell me I still have to pay them? I have made my account deposit only and the first one I am starting with is Loanpoint USA - I took 600 from them and to date have paid them 540.00 so I only owe them technically 60.00 - I am soooooooooo afraid of what is going to happen with them, can someone post that this method DOES actually work?
If you call and someone tells you is the wrong number-why you continue to call. All weekend i got calls and i told them wrong number. Matter of fact i do not know the person you are trying to collect from. Very rude collectors that refuse to give me names so i can make a report. Bet you do not have a high success rate on collecting with this kind of attitude.
I also am in need of guidance...
I live in Florida and got sucked into the Payday cycle. I have one storefront and 6 online PDL's currently. The one storefront (Advance America) is cool to deal with and they usually are willing to help if you cannot pay back the loan right away. The internet ones, however, are a different story. Here's my breakdown:
ONLINE:
Ameriloan.com: Borrowed $440 on 1/12/2010. Paid nothing but principal on loan since then and currently owe $580!
First Bank of Delaware: Borrowed $600 on 2/26/10 and have paid 2 payments of $96.55 so far.
