Below is the response that I got from Kevin at Fast Cash. He has been sending emails trying to get me to pay them since I closed my acct. Everytime he emails me - I shoot him one of the C&D letters with a cc to KY Ag, KY Dept of Finance & BBB. This guy doesn't even know how to spell correctly. Hope I made his day. Hope he also enjoys the complaint I'm going to file with the KY AG's office. DO NOT email me again if your Not paying....I don't have time for you or this lil chananagan game your playing cs your bored with nothing to do............pay or lay off.....................

I am trying to work out a payment plan with 5 cso's in texas...can anyone give me any good feedback on attempting to do this with these companies: Ace Cash Express Cash Central Payday one Cashnet USA My CashNow.... I am wanting to pay them back on a six month repayment plan...any advice would be great!

Does anyone here have experience with settling 2 or more credit cards and what the impact it had on their credit score and how long. I have read alot of posts how the initial damage is done while you are going late on your payments but I was curious to see if anyone can share with us how long it took them after settling their credit cards to see their credit return to a respectable level 675+. It appears from this board most of us have had good credit until this point when we were forced to settle debt. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Has anyone received calls from Federal Legal Investigation Dept? Who are they?

I was served by the Sheriff here in Paulding County just before Christmas. I answered 3 days later to F.J. Hanna and the Paulding Courthouse. I'd asked for debt validation over a year before to Midland Funding (F.J.H. says they represent them) and never got anything back. It was forgotten until the papers were served. In my answer I included the original request for validation. I received a letter from the court that stated that it was being put into mandatory mediation and I'd hear back about that (I haven't yet).

Long story short - I have a bunch of charge offs which I am paying back through CCCS of Atlanta. Is there anything else I can be doing while paying off these debts to help improve my credit score or are my hands basically tied until I get this taken care of? Thanks in advance!

Anybody have any luck actually getting a refund from an internet PDL (illegal in KY) after you have paid them waaaay more than the principal? If so, how did you go about it?

got a call from a marshall walker from affidavit processing out of jacksonville, florida. he says I owe money from a pay day loan back to 2005. he had all of my personal information bank, name, account number, etc and said I owe them $700. he has called several times and I asked for copies of what he was talking about as this was the first I heard I owed anything. said I was going to be charged in itasca county court where I live for a worthless check issued.
