I didnt file a state tax return in 1995 for a part time job I had. I just pulled my credit report and noticed that the state filed the 1200 dollar just a few months ago 12/2009 almost 15 years later. Can I dispute that? Is there a time limit that they have to report it? Can I go back and file now Im pretty sure if I had filed a return back then I would of received a small refund. Any advice?

I just got a call from a company that had all of my information. They claimed that I got a Payday loan last year and because I defaulted on the loan I was having criminal charges of Theft by Deception, Fraud and a few other things brought against me. I was skeptical about this being a scam so I refused to give them any information and when I asked for further information I was met with a lot of resistance. It sounded like they were calling from a cellphone. I did take out a PayDay loan last year, but to my knowledge it was paid off. I'm not sure what to do at this point.

Can debt collectors just drop off a summons at your job?

Has anyone dealt with them? They are calling me regarding a payday loan with payday loan-yes. they are offering me a settlement. Before i give them any money i want to make sure they are for real...... PLEASE HELP!

Hello, First off, let me say thank you to frogPatch, who directed me to post my story here. I was in line at the Registry this morning and got a call from LMK & Associates. The woman said verbatim everything from this website - http://tinyurl.com/debtcall. Of course, I wasn't aware of this website then. Anyway, scared of losing my license and being taken to jail, I quickly agreed to a 6 month payment plan. I gave up my debit card number and was recorded agreeing to this.

Yep They called me 2 claming 2 be a law firm. I googled them & found this link. Calling me at work with threats was not kool at all. I borrowed $300.00 & I have paid back almost $600.00 & they still want $300.00 from me. How do we get this resolved???

Fast Money 911 ($350) have paid probably $1800 Blackcard Loan ($500) have paid &875 CashNet, USA ($900 and $350) MyCashNow ($500) have paid probably $675 First Bank of Delaware ($600 and $550) CheckNGo ($900 and $350) Can I revoke ACH debits form some of these? I was thinking of sending letters to the ones that I have already paid so much on and telling them that I had revoked ACH debit rights for them and that I had paid them enough. What is the best way to go about handling thes? I need to work out some kind of payment arrangements with them.
