A lighter note for everyone - Well I have been trying to educate myself on the collection industry - you know "know thy enemy". Anyway I have been on some forums for the collection industry and someone started a thread asking for help in hiring collectors - what questions other people ask etc. Well one guy replied "Well I bring the job candidate into my office then I yell at them, scream, swear and threaten to sue them. If they don't pee pee in their pants I hire them" LOL LOL I have been laughing about this for 2 days and thought I would share it.

I have written about this previously a few months back. This has to do with that wonderful ca Asset. They were trying to collect on a debt that is 17+ yrs old, yep that’s right! So I dv’d them with the great letter I got from this site which I use every time. I received the green card back signed by them on January 28, 2010. These letters were dated March 3, 2010. They are a little late! I sent to add.

I live in California and have internet payday loans with prestige $250 2 more payments 3/15/10 $110 and 3/31/10 $195 Ameriloan $450 1st pymt to come out is $185 CashJar$700 1st pymt to come out is $193.75 bal+ $812.50 after that pymt 500fastcash $400 1st pymt to come out $170 Cashnet usa $255 $286.50 on 3/31/10 to come out I am banking with CHASE but have managed to get an approval and opened new accts with Bank of America. I am so ready to close my accts with CHASE but do not want to create more of an issue.Does anyone know what CHASE ACH policies are?

We are trying to buy a home so we get our credit ran and find out that IMC credit services had filed a Judgement against my husband for a Dr. bill it says on his Credit that its $256 so I called the court house and with court cost its 347 BUT she says it would be faster to call IMC and pay them, SO I called and she said that there is interrest on this Dr bill and that we owe 465 WOW that blew my mind This happened in Indiana is this allowed???

I have received a HELOC settlement letter from Citifinancial. It states the following, Citifinancial Mortgage has authorized NCO Financial Systems Inc. To collect on their behalf the balance of 175,000 by remitting $17,500 in certified funds by 3/18/10 to avoid additional collection action, your account will be considered satisifed and if applicable all liens and or judgements will be satisified and released. Can you plz.

Anyone settle with this debt settlement company?

I live in Utah and have a lot of payday loans and I don't think I can keep up anymore I am worried about bills what should I do they are all store fronts

does anyone know and/or have good experience w/ payday loan consolidation companies? i have google some but keep getting scams...any legit payday loan consolidation companies? help plz:(
