i co-signed for my daughters sallie-mae loan and she will not make the payments now. i have agreed to let allied interstate to take payments out of my checking account every month bc they said they will garnish my wages. i'm already poor.they said i could buy my name off of loan- be free and clear of it....is this possible?

Ok, I had a account for 10 yrs with them. Had some problems and it went negative. so I have made 4 payments paying it down and still owed $309. On Jan 18 a guy calls me yelling at me that I better pay it all by 1/22 or its going to collections. I told him I have been make payments and was scheduled to make another one on 1/25... He then began to get really upset telling me thats not enough and he was closing my account and sending me to collections now. SO at that point I told him do what he has to do and stop calling me at work..

I was listening to a radio show in Tampa, A guy called and said that a CA was calling people on his block saying he owed money and they were trying to contact him, He says they call every day , now some of his friends are telling him to call them and stop the calls I never heard that before

Hi, I am new here and have been just reading all the posts I can about doing debt settlement on my own. I am ready to get started on this process and I was wondering if it would affect my chances of getting a settlement if I have been doing my credit card payments online. They have my bank account number on file because of this. My debt is about $34,000 and the largest three cc are about $9000 each. Our income is about $55,000 per year. Please advise.

I just made my final payment of a settlement to bofa using an automatically scheduled payment. I no longer see the CC account listed under 'my accounts' on their website. Do they send you a final letter stating that the account has been paid? Can I tell by looking at my credit report? Thanks for helping.

I have problems with this company, and working to resolve it. However, they deposited money into my g/f's account and the debiting it like crazy today. She has never applied nor taken out a PLD of any sort. I know they hide behind their "license" in DE, but this is fraud. Should she file a police report? Which agency addresses this? FBI, SEC? They're not just IPD scum, they're LIARS and FELONS as well.
