I recieved a call today from lra saying they are collecting for Vince enterprises. They say that I owe 480, which definitely isn't the case. I owed Vince 125. What are the Steps I can take as far as a debt validation letter. What do I tell them when they call? Any help you can give me as far as what I should tell them would be very helpful. Is there a letter I should send to them?

HI, there: I bought a Dell Laptop with windows 7 home premium a month ago and I reinstalled the system with the windows 7 DVD came with the Laptop. However I don't know I need to activate the windows 7 at that time. Now after 30 days, I have a problem that, the windows message says that, my activation period has been expired. Even when I tried to input the product key on the Dell laptop, it is said that the product key is invalid. Would you please tell me what to do except reinstalling the windows 7 if reinstallation can solve this problem. Thank

I was sued by a debt collector over an old Chase credit card. The case was dismissed with prejudice because the debt collector could not prove that it was my debt. The order also forced the CA to remove their entry off my credit reports (via countersuit). But the orignial creditor, Chase, is still reporting the debt as "unpaid/charged off" even though I have disputed it with the credit bureus. Chase just keeps saying that the debt is valid and the bureaus beleive them. Can I use my "Order of Dimissal" to get the OC to stop reporting? Do I send a copy to the credit bureus?

my thread mustve been deleted. I'm curious to seee what any of you know about this company. As far as I know all they do is distribute a device that reroutes calls from a creditor/collection agency to a robotic system that acts as an attorney and ceases debtors from being called.

Hello, I recently sent a debt validation letter to a collection agency who is trying to collect on my Bank of America credit card. I had asked for an agreement with B of Am. and the collection agency of their right to collect on the debt, along with the original contract with my signature, and complete payment history on the debt. What I received back were copies of 2009 statements from B of A from this account. Do I have to accept this as validation of the debt. There are more than just a year's worth of statements on this account.

Hi, here is my situation 80 k in credit card dept . bought house two years ago have no equity in house. no car payments but own two cars woth less than 3500.00 per car. I earn 3500.00 a month but have 4 kids . I passed the online means so i would qualifiy for chapter 7. Hi everyone, Ok, just need a little advice- I've settled 4 of my 8 CCs, really proud of myself for pulling the $$ together and being strong enough to get that far. Capital One scares the sh!t out of me...I'm 126 days past due today, got a call from Global Credit that they are now handling my Capital One account. I called Cap1's phone # and after entering my account # they automatically forward me to this Global place so it must be legit.

I live in Wisconsin and I took a pay cut at work because of the economy. I tried out PayDayMax.com. Everything went well. I took out a few loans and paid back a few loans. At that point I was pretty happy with them. The last loan I took out was for $750. I didn't have the funds in my bank account. Eventually the bank closed my account and PayDayMax sent Credit Protection Depot out to get the money I owed them. I hear they are the same company (amongst others). CPD made me a verbal offer. They said I owed about $1700 - $1800 total on this loan (with interest).

Does anyone know if Payday one is a member of CFSA. I'm in Ohio and pretty sure they are legal operating as a CSO. I'm wanting to work out a payment plan with them. Anyone have any suggestions?
