I received a response from another PDL and of course they also say I am bound by the laws in their state/county. They have offered a settlement of the principal only, which I know is good, but I have had several loans with them and every time before I had paid interest with the loans. Do I owe the principal amount on this current loan, or am I due a refund since all prior loans I paid interest? Thanks, sorry for all the questions, but I just want to confirm that I am correct thinking they actually owe me a refund.

I have sent them numerous emails to stop drafting from my account but they keep trying which is costing me more and more overdraft fees. There is no mailing address for them on the internet. Any suggestions on getting them to stop?????

I was just informed that a pdl I had had been sent to Icollect for collections. Does anyone have any info on this company on how I should go about dealing with them. From my count I only owed the pdl 170 more on a 300 loan, but with all their fees and stuff I have a feeling they sent it to the collection agency for more. How do I go about paying only the amount borrowed to the ca?

Starting Jan 1, 2010 all internet payday loans are considered illegal. The Kentucky department of financial institutions does not issue licenses to internet lenders so there is no such thing as a legal online payday loan. As an added bonus, all loans made prior to 2010 are considered invalid and are not collectable. This would include any fees AND the principle of the loan. I look at this as more of a class action settlement since kentucky realizes that going after the lenders individually is nearly impossible. Happy new year.

I am in Ohio and have PDLs with CashNet, Check N Go, PayDay One, and Payment Direct. Is it legal to close my checking account and set up payment arrangements? Thanks.

what's the catch and the fee's assoiciated with this company and did they really help you to get out of the hole??

Hi everyone. Today I received a letter from Corporate Receivables on a debt I owe. I also received a call from them last week sometime. In the letter they are stating the amount I owe and that I can make payments to them through Western Union. Also they are saying the reason for the default is a refusal to pay. Now I never told them I refused to pay, just that I didn't have the money they wanted. I just sent out a debt verification request letter to them. I'm not sure what the next step is. Any help is greatly appreciated. If anyone needs more info I'll be happy to give it out. Thanks.
