Hello all - I sent a dv letter to Riexinger & Assoc after receiving phone calls and corresponsence concerning an alleged debt of mine - I have the signed receipt that they received my dv letter on 11/30/09. They have NOT responded to that letter by validating that this is my debt and that they are authorized to collect upon it in any way. Today, 12/21/09, I received another letter from them attempting to collect on an alleged debt.

how about the great state of Illinois?? anyone have information on lending?? I like so many others have fallen in this trap with 8 PDL's... HELP!!!!!

I got my discovery answers back today from the JDB, I requested Original signed credit card agreement, Original Credit card App, Original Credit card agreement Dated when account was open, they replied all was destroyed, I also requested the chain of Custody / notice of assignment, they sent me a blank bill of sale from BOA with no info of me or the account in Question, this is not a proper notice of assignment I also requested a complete detailed history of the account in question they sent me 5 old statements, my pre-trial is in a few months, I will tell the Judge I have yet to see t

I have a store front payday loan in default as of now..I tried to make Payment arrangement but they don't want to hear it so ...anything i can do in the meantime? Its the cash Store in Texas I owe 912.23 but i already paid 1600 in interest already

I signed a stipulation to judgement recently and what was agreed was that I would allow the law firm automatically withdraw money each month on the 15th...as in no money orders, cash or checks - they would be responsible for withdrawing. It is now the 21st and I am still not seeing anything even pending from them. There was PLENTY of money prior and now for them to withdrawl. I called the law firm on Friday - just to make sure they withdrew and they said they got my payment, but the lady I spoke with sounded nervous/sketchy to me.

These people are the worst i've ever dealt with...they threatened me and claimed to have a civil suit against me...thanks to the advice on here i stopped worrying about them and decided to pursue complaints against them. They told me they were collecing from Cash Advance Network...it's hard to tell who's worse. I think CAN is illegal every where, so a lawsuit isn't an option, never mind that i paid this off years ago.

I have around 40K credit card debt with Bank of America and my account is 120 days past due. THey are pressuring me to make a payment to keep the account in their books. They told me if I don't make the payment by Jan 31st it will be charged off. They told me I can also settle it for around 10K which I don't have at the moment but they gave me 90 days to pay it off. He told me that if I make a minimum payment than they will keep the account there and I can try to settle next month for even less, maybe. Is that sound right to you?

I have a lawsuit against a collection agency. I've paided them 3 time to clear up a judgement....They failed to do anything until I contacted the clerk of court where the judgement are filed and placed a suit against them. My question is what all can they be sued for or what can you consider damages?

I am in ohio and have a storefront pdl first american cash advance I was unable to pay back. I called to try and make payment arrangements but she said they do no type of payment and will take me to court immediately and garnish my wages. I told her I had to pay my bills like electric, gas, water, food, and house, she said I should have paid them first. Please give me advice on what they are able to do to me.
