This is infuriating. Daniel Stermer is appointed receiver of Hess Kennedy. He has paid himself, Lewsi B. Freeman & Partners (TAX EVASION SCAM COMPANY IN RECEIVERSHIP) and Berger Singerman an excess of $250,000 per month since July 2008. Now the receiver wants to keep his buddies DEVELOPMENT SPECIALISTS, INC. on as a "consultant".

Well, I'm in a dilemma. I'm torn between saving now or pay the debt. What I am saying is I'm trying to build a fund before starting negotiating with my creditors but I am also worried about the possible legal actions that they might take against me in such situation. What do I do? Shall I stop making payments to them and save every single penny that I can or keep paying them without worrying about future possibilities? Also there is a high chance that I might face unemployment sometime at the middle of next year. Hence, saving seems to be the priority but I???m not sure.

Recap of my numbers: $45K with Citi ( now about $50 K) $30 K with Advanta $11K with Amex $7500 with Cap One I'm at about 100 days late on all but the Advanta which I'm at about 130 days on. Last communication I got from Advanta, they said my account was due to be charged off in 20 days. That was about 2 weeks ago. Have not heard boo from them since. While I understand the basic concept of charge off, sure would love to get more specific details about what that'll mean when/if they do that for me. Citi- Just got an offer for a 69% settlement. I wont/cant take it.

Can someone explain the difference in these...like if i got a loan from a bank, or say car.com or something like that, is that different than doing dealer financing? I guess, am i paying back the bank or the car dealer...the reason i ask is becuase i was i was looking at these internet referrals that send you to car dealers...given my credit situation, this is a good option for me. So I guess i'm just wondering about the differences between these two. Also if i get a bank loan and buy a car with that, does that mean i tell the insurance company i own the car or am financing?

Recently I contacted LLS (Little Loan Shoppe) in reference to payday loans being illegal in the state of Connecticut.This is their response to me. Please help me in any way you can, I have 8 loans abouyt 2500.00 in them, I am current on all but 1, they are due tomorrow but I am going to the bank in the am, to talk to them to open another account and close that one, I have called a debt consolidation and I am trying to see how I can pay them what they want, but I dont see how, Any suggestions as to what to do, where to go, whom to talk to. Also i have been getting calls from the 1 i have in default they call my refernece,, my job, tell me that I did something against the law with having more then 1 loan out. Just to let everyone know I just got off the phone with Am Ex We are 25 days late 10k balance And they offered me a 12 month Hardship program 150 per month payment or 200 whichever customer wants 6 months 0% 6 months 9.9% Not a bad program But settling would be better I just thought I would let everyone know

EZPayday Cash - 500 loan 0 paid Internet (currently under collection w/ Smith, Hayes & Watson) 5. Cash Transfer Centers $1500 loan 0 paid Internet (currently under collection w/ National Recovery Service saying balance is $2257) I have done at least a year of bussiness with these folks giving them close to 450.00 twice a month on a 1500.00 loan. I have two delinquent Amex accounts (120 days past due), which are allegedly owned by Nationwide credit. Nationwide faxed me a settlement offer, which looks very simple, without any logo. Also they are asking me to pay the settlement amount at Amex website. the letter says "obligation will end upon settlement" and doesn't say anything about reporting to credit agencies. Are they genuine? Your advice is appreciated!! Thanks.

i don't get it...the debt is all in MY name because i was the one taking our daughter to the medical specialists...he assumed responsibility before the court and it was on the divorce decree that he had to get all debt (including a VISA) into HIS name but he can't get a loan to pay it all off and has not done so on any of the bills. He said he's trying to pay them and they won't take it off my credit report until he's paid down 90 days on them but that still means I AM LIBLE for them.
