Sorry for the off-topic but I know that here I can find people that can help me! I work in the army, as you know I am really low on cash, i've just camed home to see my familly an I am thinking of getting a payday loan. I've heared that army men have a discount on the interests or somthing like this. If anyone here has any info do not hesitate to reply!

I am being sued by American Express for 31000.00, I have the summons, and sent an answer, now theyhave sent back discovery. I need to answer this,but the questions seem to want me to admit, I owe this,which I do, but how do I answer without admiting to everything, and they are even wanting my social security number and other information. They also sent me a floppy disc which has information on it, but I do not have a computer that has that on it. Do I ask them to email me the file. Also if I would answer all the questions, can they get a judgement on me?

I have about 60k in debt, mostly ran things up for a few months when I lost my job, now I have one but almost 1k less amonth, I could probaly save $900 a month , Will I be able to keep from getting sued and get everyone paid

Hello, I too have gotten myself into a PayDay loan mess. I currently have 6 Internet PDLs. This is the info on my accounts. Thanks to the advise I received here I am working on getting these resolved by sending revoke letters and contacting my bank. Would like some help on what I am responsible for paying back on these.

Hi Everyone, I just rcvd a voice mail from some woman by the name of Ms. Barnsworth and she is claiming that she is a National Process Server and that she has been at my residence in reference to a summons that she is trying to serve on me she also stated that she will be coming to my place of employment and that I needed to call her back at 877-755-4877. I have done a search and can't come up with any information pertaining to to this number. I am wondering how I can find out who this is and why are they calling me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Trying to neg. a settlement with Advanta on a $17k balance which is approaching 90 days past due...they keep switching "portfolio managers" on me and I keep getting slightly different stories from them.....was offered 60% earlier this week but it seems others out here have done much better?? can anyone give me some detail on a recent advanta settlement as a guide for my negoiation? Hello. I have defaulted on a loan with a storefront PDL. I was going to renew my loan so I first gave them by updated bank acct information. The employee told me they couldn't do a rollover so I was not able to pay and renew the loan. They still have the old check from the old account, but they now have my information for my new acct. Can they attempt to get money from this new account even tho I didn't write a check or sign any documents authorizing them to?

I posted a few days ago on here about this company calling me threatening lawsuits. In looking at recent forum posts it seems others have dealt with them too. they claimed to be working for an attorney and trying to stop a civil suit against me...they cited a case number in my county (is this even possible if i haven't been served)? They claim this debt was for Cash Advance Network I took the advice of this forum and ignored them after their initial call. So they left me a VM tonight saying due to my 'blatant disregard' they will have to file litigation.
