I live in Delaware and have 9 (I know) internet payday loans that have been active since around July of this year. I have paid well over the amount borrowed on most of them. I need help getting these things reduced or cancelled as being paid in full.

Hi I keep hearing about a 0% chapter 13. I even find the phrase on a couple of lawyers' websites. How can there be 0% paid back over 5 years! Makes no sense Bill

Has anyone had any luck having a settlement agree to report a paid in full status instead of a settlement status? And also agree not to report to the IRS by issuing a 1099 C ? I am days away from doing a chapter 13 and thought may be in a last-ditch effort. Thank you

I???m currently struggling with $4k debt on my Amex Card. I???m only making min payments towards it. But it seems that I soon have to stop that even. I was contemplating settlement with them when I got a letter from Amex proposing that I voluntarily surrender the card to get a $250 prepaid card from Amex for free. I think I can make use of this offer but not sure of its pros and cons. Can anyone suggest me the best course of action? Can I simply surrender the card and forget about it and start using the new one?

I have been working with an attorney for two months on a Chapter 13 case. When my husband and I showed up for our appointment to sign the final papers he said that we have too much debt for a Chapter 13 and will need to file a Chapter 11, which is much more complicated and expensive. We have unsecured debt that totals $295,995. Everything I have looked up says the limit is $336,900 but the attorney is saying Title 11 USC 109 puts a $250,000 limit on unsecured debt. Which is right?

I live in Maryland and I have a loan with the VIP Loan Shop. My loan was for 300 and I already paid 360$ in fees. Theoretically I should get a PIF from them once I send my CD letter but I wanted to ask if anybody has dealt with them before. I know they're based in Nevis, West Indies and they are obviously highly illegal.

Has anyone ever heard of this law firm? I searched on the internet only to find that they are a supposed scam law firm representing payday loans. She told me in her voicemail that if I don't return their call by today, they will be filing papers in my county and she actually named the county. The number she left was 800-351-4253. Her name was Rebecca. Has anyone dealt with them?

I live in WA and have loans with the following companies: Mycashnow, Ameriloan, PDL Loan Center Are they legal in Washington state???

Came across this while looking for some info. It states if you are settling with your original cc bank you don't really need written offer to settle. creditinfocenter.com/debt/originalcreditor_debtsettlement.shtml I am confused here. What if the bank backs out? Can someone clarify this? Thanks!
