I closed my bank account a couple days ago to stop any further debits by IPDLs, and the bank assured me that going forward ACHs would not re-open my account. Guess I'm just a bit nervous after being in this nightmare for 6 months and reading the thread about contacting ACH prosessors. I live in Virginia. Any advice or assurance?

Cach LLC on there Answers to my Interrogatories said they are a assignee on the Debt opened, Yet there Affidavit they supply me said they purchased the Debt, is this a violates the Fair Debt Collection Act????

I recently was served papers from Asset Acceptance, LLC for a past debt. They served me with complaint papers, it says nothing about what I'm supposed to do with this complaint. It was issued over a month ago, but I've just now received the papers. What is my next step to get this resolved?

I received a collection letter from Cavalry regarding an updaid credit card form HSBC for $1687.48 and sent a DV letter via certified mail which was received and signed for by them on 11/9/09. Today I received notification that they have placed the account on my credit report as of 11/1/09. I know the debt is mine but I want them to validate it before I enter into any payment arrangements with them. How long should I wait for them to respond? If they don't respond soon can I request to have it reomoved from my credit report.

I've been trying to find information on the company but I didn't see anything in the forums. I see that they're a member of the CFSA but I can't find any other info about them and their physical address doesn't seem to be listed on the website. Thanks in advance.
