I have been doing my homework regarding settling with credit cards and I have noticed that pretty much all the letters note something about paying extra for a good reporting to the credit bureau's. But I have yet to see anywhere a baseline amount that someone should or would pay for this. Also, I can pay extra for the credit card to not put something bad on my report after I settle?

This is what I wrote in a validation letter to a CA, cut and paste:
"I would also like to request, in writing, that no telephone contact be made by your offices to my home or to my place of employment.
M&B Won a Judgement against me I was in court but did not have a lawyer for 2500 yea they took me to court for this it is HSBC I cant appeal it will cost too much money I live in Texas I have no job I am married so they could freeze bank account ..I called to set up pmts they said they would send this in writing so far they have not but this was just Monday .. Please advise ..

Hi, this is Ellen. I just recently signed up for this site and really only gave the minimal information that was required to get started. I believe I signed up around the 19th of October. I have in the meantime received 6-7 calls from a man named Daniel Sissle of Financial Independence, a debt settlement company. This man states that "I qualify for one of the programs" that he can guarantee that I will be out of debt and save hundreds of dollars. He is pretty persistent.
I have a case management Conf next week, Before I try to Settle, I need some help to What would be considered Proof that Cach Owns my Account from the OC and they have the right to collect from me the Amount Owed
