I have been reading a lot of post on here and i think the pay day loan company r at fault. I see some of the people on here have over 5 pay day loans at 1 time out.. I thought all the payday loans company has some kind of system they all go and check your information on and they can see that you have other pay day loans out. I have 3 payday loans out at 1 time and yes i am at fault for getting them but they r at fault also. They r putting us in more debt and there is something we need to do about this..

I currently have 3 sallie mae private signature student loans that are past due and probably going into default, onne is cosigned with my mother. Sallie mae says my loans are ineligible for financial hardship and I no long her any forbearance time to use. I attempt to make the payments that I can make but its not enough. My goal was to make what payments I can until i get my taxes to pay off the complete past due amount. But Now i think on one of my loans they assigned it to a collections agency and tact on a 3k collection fee.

Prevention of swine influenza. Everyone already knows that this epidemic is worldwide .. in our town (population 12,500 people) have recently identified more than 50 people became infected with influenza A (H1N1). Tell me please, what steps can be taken for prevention. . how to protect yourself and your family? Has anyone encountered this problem?

Currently researching debt settlement options and trying to find an honest/reputable company/service. $57,000 of credit-card debt/cards maxed/few overlimit-late fees/barely making minimum payments. Working O.T.to stay afloat.Power bills always late,etc..Co-signed on a car for partner that can't pay bill..found-out I'm actually primary signer.Can't pay that at all. Bring home $4,500 with O.T. Tightest budget figured out with my local credit counseling after "settling" the interest rates,etc is $4,500 for 51 months-if I do not miss one payment! about the same I'm paying already.

Flobridge is the name they go by. They have sent me a letter threatening garnishment- called me at work repeatedly after I told them it was prohibited, now they are sending threatening emails to me telling me that they are going to garnish 25% of my wages. I am sick of it. They have harrassed me to no end and I want it to stop. Is there any legal way they can garnish my wages? I have revoked any and all wage assignments and my HR department assured me that they pay no attention to any voluntary WA. Should I respond to this last email and lay it on the line?

I see a lot of hate on here, collectors daying "pay what you owe" " your a deadbeat" "your a thief" but in the end, who is really the thief? Most of us fall on hard times and do not purpously not pay our bills as in my case, being struck with cancer 2 times in 2 years. I probably have over $15,000 in a combination of debts and repos. Say I owe Capital One $4,000 and it has been almost 2 years, the account is charged off. I know I still owe capital one the money, it is a no brainer. They have insurance to cover the losses so at some point they do make their money back.

Can anyone point me in the right direction in what to make sure of in a settlement as to the critical points to cover?

Is there a legitimate payday loan consolidation program?

Once an account has been put into collections - are you able to work with the original creditor if you elect to do so? Or do they just "wash their hands" of the account?
