My dilema all began w/illegal payday loans, mentioned in my previous posts. So now less than two months later, National City has charged off my account and reported me to Chexsystems, even though I went to the bank, talked to a branch manger and agreed to continue a portion of my direct deposit to my account twice a month until my negative balance was paid in full. My account with the overdraft fees and $8.95 continous overdraft fee the bank charged, plus the $30 fee to stop each unauthorized ACH withdrawals future withdrawals, my account got to be just under -$1000.

I am currently 90+ days behind on a Cap. One loan with a $20,000 balance. I know there are several threads here on dealing with Cap. One. So far they have been very nice, polite, and very willing to work with me. Last week I was offered a 50% settlement, spread out over 75 days. Unfortunately I cannot come up with that kind of cash, period. Today I offered $3,000 as a lump sum, payable immediately, but they were unwilling to budge, and the counselor alluded to my credit report scores being too high. I know my counter-offer is very low, but it is what I can reasonably come up with.

In working through repaying these illegal internet lenders the principle amount borrowed I ran in to a situationn that I wanted to get some feedback on. Yesterday and today I spoke with both PDL Yes and United. In both instances, I have offered to send them the principle amount borrowed minus any fees paid plus a return check charge (from when I closed my account). They have both refused. I also told them that I would be paying via money order only through USPS. PDL-Yes refused to accept this offer of repayment and United Cash Loans refused to accept a money order or mail through the USPS.

Can someone please help me? I have a loan with wagesfast.com which I think is an illegal lender in the state of FL and I am trying to send them the illegal lender letter. But I cannot find the address or an email address anywhere. Has anyone dealt with them?

Sorry, I did not know if I needed to make a new thread for this question??? I came across something on internet, I have a loan out with Cash In A Wink... I live in California and I found that their name is... or sponsored by A-1 Premium Budget Inc. They are licensed in the state of Delaware( I have all the info.. did not know if I could post it tho) My question is: If they are licensed in the state of Delaware can they give loans to California residents... Do they need a license in both states????

Just settled with Citibank for 50%. Terms are $3100 paid over six months. The debt was with Capital Management but it had only been there for a month. I feel relieved already! on to Chase and BOA...I was a little surprised at how easy it was. I called and she brought it up first..In fact she interrupted my little prepared speech to say "are you interested in a settlement today?" Wow.
