I heard that Wilshire Holding Group buys our property for the amount we owe. They take up our title and also helps in keeping our credit up. They foreclose the property by working with the lender and giving us purchase contract,transfer deed, HUD1 settlement statement. Sounds too good but are they scam??????

My husband and I currently have a large amount of credit card debt on 14 different cards. We have had this debt for several years, as we are only able to make the minimum payments on our accounts. We are tired (and somewhat unable) of making payments of over $1500 a month only to see that our debt is not budging. We need advice: should we go through a debt settlement company (we've been researching Superior Debt Services in CO.) or try to settle the debt ourselves?

alright i just set up an "agreement" with redline a day ago. i looked up the company on google and i find a lot of negative things about it. i owed 4,000 and they agreed to settle it for 1200 if i pay it within a 2 month period. im actually scared because my dad is helping me with the payments and i (stupid enough) gave them my dads checking account number and bank routing number. the first payment was to be 150 then 500 then 600. i asked for an email confirmation and my father wanted a fax.

I am in Tennessee and have a couple PDL's out. This week my bank account went majorly negative because my employer didn't deposit my check in the correct account (yes, I know, i shouldnt have spent until I saw it there. I saw it on my paystub and went about my day). Everything was small transactions --- $20, $2.25, $45, etc. The fees are insanely adding up, I've never seen anything like it.

Hi all, I have been looking over the site, and see a lot of questions asking if a certain company is good, but I was curious if someone could give me one or two just good companies for debt consolidation. We are not behind on any bills, make payments just fine, but they are split about some 5-6 cards, and its a pain to pay them down in that way. What is a good debt consolidation company to cover 20,000 in credit card debt. Looking to get out and close most of the accounts, and just have one payment. Thank you!

Has anyone had recent dealings with MTE after the court ruling in their case and have they had any success getting PIF's? I have settled all but three PDL's and they are all MTE and are all paid in full except for one which I owe $80 on. They refuse to give an address or accept payment.
