Has anyone heard of a company called Cash Collect. I am going through debt settlement with an attorney and when my attorney called someone told them they are with cash collect and could not answer any questions unless they spoke with me. My attorney told me to call to get some information from them so they could send a power of attorney letter but every time i call i get a busy signal. I try calling several times an hour for 5 or 6 hours straight and all it does it ring busy, The number I have is 949-202-4689.

Multiple Debts.

Hello, I am trying to pay off multiple credit cards and student loans. I am not sure which is better to pay off first: credit cards still with the actual credit card company (discover, chase, etc) with a larger balance ($2000-$4000 range) or smaller debts ($400-$500 range) that have gone to collections. Which should I attack first? Thanks & Regards.

What is the Parent Plus Loan?

16 years 7 months ago
Hi Guys. [QUOTE]A Parent PLUS Loan to meet students' education costs is available through both the FFEL and Direct Stafford Program. Parents who have an acceptable credit history can borrow a Parent PLUS Loan to pay the education expenses of a child who is a dependent student enrolled at least half time in an eligible program at an eligible school. Your parents fill out a Parent PLUS Loan application, which is available from your school's financial aid office. To be eligible to receive a Parent PLUS Loan, your parents generally will be required to pass a credit check.

Miss statement on what is owed in letter.

16 years 7 months ago
I recently received a letter from Firstsource Advantage on an account I was working with till July. The letter states I have an account balance of $150.66 but when I talked to them they state that it is $400 and collecting interest. Are they allowed to 'bait and switch' like this? The Supervisor claims he can settle for almost $300 if I do it now. I think this is bunk and would like an opinion on what my next move should be.
