I have two accounts with Wells Fargo, totaling about $80,000. I can't pay them anymore, but I'm really worried, as I haven't seen anyone saying they've gotten good settlements from them. If anyone has had any experienc of any kind with Wells, I would really appreciate hearing about it, so that I can get prepared. Thanks so much.

Hi community. Just have a question. When a CA takes you to court and obtains a judgement to garnish wages, how long do they have to enforce the judgement? What if you don't work? Does the judgement start when you obtain a job? Thanks.

Several years ago, my son paid off a credit card company for me. The statements were in my name, but the mailing address belonged to my son in Lackawanna, NY. Now his address is on my credit report. How do we get his address removed from my credit report? HOW CAN I GET IN TOUCH WITH THE CREDITOR?

Hello all. While i am trying to do this on my own, I obviously do not know all the rules and time is running short so i need quick help (what else is new, ehy?). I am being sued by capital one. I was to go to court on 1-1-09 . I am very forgetful and did not make the date. needless to say they got/won judgement. I thought all was going to go away and 9-1-09 they froze my bank account. on 9-2-09 I have a new letter saying they are filing for the garneshment of said account for the xx amount of dollars I owe them. Here are the quick questions.

Does anyone has the address and/or fax number for Salaryfast.com? I am desperate. I cannot tell you what these people have put me through.

Just a quick question: I recently received a couple of notices from 3 different collection agencies, each of them from the legal department stating that I had been getting bills from the original creditors and then these CA's as well but I never bothered to take care of my debt and now I would be sued, yada yada yada...... Anyway, I sent D/V letters to all 3 agencies, giving them 5 working days to validate the debt (because I had NOT received prior billings) and send me something back. This all happened roughly 3 weeks ago. To this date, I have heard nothing.

I was told by a payday lender, Paycheck Today, that internet law supersede's state law. I know they are probably trying to scare me, but wanted to double check and see if anyone in your forum knew the sure answer to this. Thanks.

Will sending out a goodwill letter to a company's CEO be more effective to get the account back in good standing?

Just got served and they listed 2 accounts on the same summons. They sued after 170 days, which I thought was quick. I have been in contact with them and told them my situation, but I guess it didn't matter. I will file an answer, any suggestions from you guys and gals would be appreciated.

I posted a week or two ago about several overpayments on 3 internet payday loans I took out. I discoverd that I over paid all three of them and then sent out c&d emails. One even sent me a refund (signmyloan.net) while another just sort of disappeared (ameriloan.net). The third is giving me grief.... I got a couple of calls today from Mr. Mitchell at Nationwide. I've had two loans with them. The first was a $400 loan which I paid $1440 in total. The second was a loan in the amount of $400, which I've paid $200 on.
