This forum rocks. I overpaid by literally 1000s my 9 pdl loans and today just took action by sending in the ACH revocation letters. I sent them with return receipt emails and some were immediately opened. The question I have is how long does it take for action to be taken?

Hello, I can't close my account right now because of the rent check out and my direct deposit coming in, but I also can't afford for CastlePayday to debit from my account. I know everything needs to be in writing so I contacted Chase customer service and cited the law and told them I wanted ACH revoked. I asked them for confirmation that they recieved my request. So I was reading through the forums and came across the sticky that gives information on how to deal with legitimate collection agencies that have in one way or another obtained your "debt" from illegal payday lenders. The information is great and very helpful; but I couldn't help but wonder...Even after the cease and desist letter is sent, and it is explained that the debt that the agency has obtained was from an illegal lender, will my credit score still suffer?

Hello, I have several payday loans. I attempted to find licenses for all of them but could only locate one for cashnetusa. My lenders are as follows: Cashnetusa great plains lending multiloansource castlepayday idealgelt The multiloansource loan is in collections with searay portfolio and they are threatening to get a judgement. I askedthem to send me paperwork describing the debt and how they have concluded on their final numbers. They told me that it would take too long to do that and I needed to pay before they sent claims to my county., Does this seem legitimate.

I live in Louisiana, which does not regulate online payday loans, however I need to know if Kenwood Services is licensed anywhere or if this is an illegal company. To date for my $150 loan, they have gotten me for a total of $765, none of which was applied to the principle. I am also trying to figure out how to deal with VIP loan shop.
