I cover several credit card debt beginning college (approximately 7000) I include not been behind on a payment in more than a year, though I was looking interested in think about one credit to consolidate these. Every suggestion would be cooperative.

almost 30 days late n getting phone calls , I only get paid once a month ,and my next pay day is sept 3rd, n can only make one pmt , what do I do

Back on Nov of 07 there was a lawsuit against me for a debt that was owed since 04. Long story short...Mann Bracken were the ones trying to collect from me. The judgement was to garnish wages, assets, etc. I got letter after letter until I finally gave them a call. At that time I had become unemployed and as for assets, I never had any. I'm in poverty level..my bank account rarely gets used. Anyway, for that past year I had been dealing with Mann Bracken. A year ago the amnt they were trying to collect was about 3623, I made payments whenever I could.

I just settled my Chase account through GC Services, the same CA assigned to collect on my Citi debt ($20K). I will not have the funds to settle with Citi for at least 4-5 months. My question is: should I ignore calls from GC for awhile, or talk to them right away and explain the situation?

Suttell & Associates took over my Cap1 debt. I made 3 monthly payments of $200 on the debt but I was not receiving any record of the payment (receipt/statement). I was paying directly to them and should have been paying to the courts. None the less I wrote them 3 letters and called their office and asked if I could receive some sort of receipt for my past and future payments....no response. I wrote a 4th letter saying I was ceasing my payments until I could get a receipt or statement.

Hello, I live in Pennslyvania. I have been reading on this forum as of today, that some of these companies are illegal. My question is , I used this companies years ago in NYC, and stopped using for about 3 years. Then recently as of last year started using them again. When my friends have tried to get an account with Am. Advance that also live in Penn. they are told on the website they don't service this state. A friend of mine in NY as of last week told me that the website told him they don't service NY either.

I'm in over 50K credit card debt. Yellow Brick Debt Consolidation has been trying to get me to sign on with them. Does anyone know anything about them?

Ok so here is the deal and hope that someone can help me!Last year sometime i rec'd a letter from Zwicker and associates for a past due chase credit card----now the short of it is that i have two other account with zwicker that i put into a debt management program but forgot to put this one in. On 8/11 zwicker issued me a payment in full demand or call to make payment arrangements that i rec'd on the 15th.
