I have a private student loan that my school gave me apparently because I was missing funds from my Financial Aid. Now those two loans are in default and I tried my best to negotiate with a collections agency. They asked for ridiculous amount of money for monthly payment. I offered multiple times payment arrangements but they just denied any suggestion I had. After their denial I just gave up to work with them since they did not want to work with me at all. I would like to start paying on these two loans which are about $20,000 altogether but do not know where to start.

I have, like many others on this forum, gotten myself into a world of trouble by taking out several payday loans. It started with one payday loan when I was in a tight spot for cash, and developed into a pattern of pulling out more payday loans to cover the recurring payments from previous loans and other bills. Most on this forum are familiar with this vicious cycle I am sure. I understand that I am at fault for getting myself in this situation, but I am now unable to pay all of my payday loans and my normal bills each month.

I have a loan with Payday Accelerated and I informed them that it was illegal in my state of Kentucky and they told me I was wrong and that I needed to do some more research. I don't know what to do. I had a loan with Golden Valley Lending and when I let them know that it was illegal in Kentucky they marked my account PIF, no trouble out of them whatsoever. I have a loan with MyCashNow too but I have not yet informed them because I have to send a letter thru the mail, they don't provide an email address.

I sent my letters to yourfastpayday.com and mypayday advance.com. both haven't answer me back, im not sure if they got my email. Its been a week, I also wrote to cash cure, they closed my account they wont refund me but thats ok lesson learned. Sure advance hasnt replied yet. Hydra fund ii is hard to reach I couldn't find a email to write to them. I also wrote to target cash now.com , they left a voice message that they haven't recieved anything, that the loan I have with them is going to collections. Thank you all for your help.

So about a month ago I received a phone call from someone claiming that they were a process server in my county and they had me on the schedule to be served that day. They told me to call a phone number and discuss my options if I did not wish to be served. I called the phone number and they answered the phone 'claimants office' I gave them my reference number, name, street address, last 4 of ssn and she informed me that I owed $1022 to Citibank. First off, I had a Citibank account but I never received ANYTHING in the two years since it has been closed saying I owed money to them.

hello, I received a payment demand notice in the amount of 2040.00 for several payday loan i had back in 2008. They gave me the option of paying the amount i owe in full or i have to file a 1099-C form to the IRS for unreported income and the IRS would flag my social security number for a tax audit.They also would file a judgment against me, allowing wage garnishment,liens and a writ of execution.They did not provide me with whom i owe or who they are collecting for. My credit report is not showing they have report to the three major credit bureaus as the letter states.
