Am I able to use a debt consolidation company to work with the credit agency trying to get money from me? Do you have any suggestions on companies to use?

Please be informed that we are trying to update information on collection agencies which are not covered in our forum. We feel this will help our members to a great extent. Anyone without any intention of promotion can provide us with basic information (like company name, phone number, address, ratings, no. of complaints etc) about a particular company. This will not only enrich our forums but also help those members who don’t find those company names here. We have asked Colins to do this work for the time being but hey anyone out there can chip in.

Has anyone heard of Richard Geller and the Credit Card Relief Formula? Has anyone bought his course? I think this website will provide all the information that I need, but it seems that my questions don't get answered with any regularity and I want make sure there is someone to help me through my unique situation. I asked the collector to verify/validate the bill they sent me. I didn't think the bill was mine. The collector wrote back and said yes, the bill was mine and I would recall having a cat scan. I did not have a cat scan. Bill must not be mine. Did the hospital or the collection agency break HIPPA laws by discussing a patient's the medical procedure?

I have also had dealings with these people. The man I talked to told If I did not pay they would turn it over to the District att. and It would end up costing me three time what the loan was plus all the legal fees. They do not tell you they are with 1st Integral Recovery Services He told me they were with IRS services. Can they get that much money out of me If can not pay what they would like up front. Help

I had a couple of loans go off deferment in November of last year when I went to school less then part time, and when I went back to school in January, the loans went back on deferment, and they said that I could pay off the charged amounts while the loans were on deferment but if i did not then they would be past due. I was just wondering if the 30 day non payment notice would also appear on my cosigners credit report cause 2 of those loans were cosigned. They are private loans with Iowa Student Loan.
