Hi everyone!! I just finished reading a book, by Kevin Trudeau. The book is called 'Debt Cures.' There are ALOT of good advice in the book. However.....ALOT of his advice is shown right here on the DebtCC Forum. IE: How to deal with creditors, your credit score, SOL of accounts, etc. He also talks about grants and Gov loans. has anyone read his book? If anyone has, will you be willing to share your point of view?

Will a credit card company (bank of America) settle with me if I they know I am employed? I have $20,000 account with them and am struggling to make rent, pay car payment and pay min. balance of $500. please help.

Has any read/used the Ultimate Debt Guide by Scott Stephen? He claims that his guide shows you how to get out of debt FAST without bankruptcy or debt consolidation. I am considering buying it.

I requested validation from a collection agency and they sent me the original contract and statement of sale from the repossession of a vehicle. The date of sale was 8-10-2004 which left the balance on the account in question. The statute of limitation in Texas is 4 years and this account is well over that. What should I send to them to have this agency stop collecting on this account?

How do you keep these pdl companies from contacting you at work and contacting your references?

Has anyone told a pdl company that they were consolidating their loans and the pdl company, in return, tells them that they do not work with payday loan consolidation companies? I just sent my deposit to Town and Country and I am worried that when T & C contacts them they will get the same news. Anyone have experience with this?

Anyone knows about Lexington Law Firm? They help dispute with 3 major credit agencies. Some of my friends are using it and they said it works. Basically this Law firm dispute all the negative things that is in your credit history and they ask for Debt Validation and item verification etc etc.
