I Need Advice With Payday Loan Debt

16 years 9 months ago
Hello!! I am in desperate need of help. I live in the state of Texas, and I have 2 payday loans that I am having trouble paying off. Both of the loans are current. I have one with Ashland Enterprises which has been open since October 2008, and has a principle of $300. The second loan is with Cash Central and has been open since March 2009 with a principle of $560. Is there any way that I can get assistance with paying these off because I am in over my head and cannot afford to continue paying the fees for these loans?????

Question about pay for delete

16 years 9 months ago
Ok I have an original debt from Capital One for $990. It has been sold off to a collector for $1052. I want to do pay for delete. My question is if the collection agency accepts, will both entries on my credit report be deleted? I have an entry from capital one for $990 that says its been charged off and sent to another lender. The other entry is from the collection agency for $1052. I just need to know if both entries would be deleted if they accepted, and if only the entry from the collection agency is removed, why would anyone ever bother with pay for delete letters.

Car Repo Payments

16 years 9 months ago
I had a car repo about two years ago. Since then, I have been making steady payments on the car. Right now I am having a hard time making the payments, so I have been paying half of what I have been paying them (one payment behind). The person in charge of my account told me that I either make up what I was not able to pay last month or the company will take further action because according to them I am not sticking to the agreement.

Paul Kupferstein - I PAID THEM!!

16 years 9 months ago
This morning I just paid off a debt to these guys. They were threatening to call my employers, family, etc, and fraud lawsuits pending, saying summons had been released and would be delivered to my workplace etc. Although the amount seemed preposterous ($1400 on an original loan of $350), I went down to the bank, and paid it into their "lawyer's trust fund". I called them back and they confirmed the payment, advising me that records would be sent to my address in the future. My questions are twofold: (1) Is this debt actually considered resolved and paid in full now?
