I was looking at my credit report and noticed cap one sold my acct to a new collection agency and didnt see the collection agency on my matrix so i got the number from cap one of them and called and they were forwarded the stuff, question is can they "re activate"my account just because i called to make sure? I know im prob just worrying to much but thought i'd ask. I filed a ch 7 bk and its no asset.

What am I to expect from my inital chap 7 bankruptcy meeting? I am meeting with the trustee and my lawyer today. Is this the only meeting I need to go to? Will the decision be completed today? Thanks!

Does anyone know and have case law or status for Missouri law; if to state a debt is stated, must have a new contract with a different creditor or collection agency? What does Missouri Law say about stated account lawsuits?

Hello, I have a question regarding my excessive amount of private student loans. I am in student loan debt around 380k. Undergrad for 6 years and grad school for 3 which Istill have not finished. This is a huge, gigantic burden because what I make per month is not even close to what the payment are per month. This is not even including normal expenses. My deferments/forbearance have been all used up and I have tried everything to see if SallieMae can restructure to make it somewhere reasonable.

Hi there I'm having serious trouble wiu pdl's. I recently paid off a $150 one from cashnetusa and they're leaving me alone. Now I have 4 others, two that I know I applied for and two others I don't remember allying for at all. They are: StarCash: 250$ (I don't remember applying for this) UnitedCashLoans: 300$ CardinalMGT: 150$ CMG Group LLC: 150$ I've been debited 45$ to cardinal and cmg three times already. Last Wednesday they tried to debit but got NSF instead because I didn't have the money to pay them so last night I check my account and had $68 in it this morning it's -$84.

I received my first letter from a CA, I am about 140 days late with my Citicard. They added $1700 in fees and interest in that time and now they say I owe $13,500. I wanted to know if now is the best time to send a DV letter or wait until after charge-off. They offered a settlement last month with me paying 60% and I turned it down. I need more time to raise funds and I have read on here that Alliance is pain to deal with. Any info would be appreciated.
