In Jan. we defaulted on our PDLs (he and I had 1 each at 3 diff. storefronts = 6 PDLs). We closed our accounts, so the checks bounced. (Had to move to our own apt bec the house we were renting a room in got foreclosed --- no choice bec it was the nearest to work, & we only share 1 car; his hours at work were cut; $2K car repair; we both went through divorces that were 5 years long overdue form our respective spouses, etc.) I made small payments but haven't been able to do so in the past 3 months. Now am getting calls from CAs about court papers. No calls for him anymore, just me.

New to the board and would much appreciate some quick help... I have 3 PDL's out... $200 with each of them and the "lenders" are as followed... One Click Cash United Cash Loans Kingston Financial Loans... I live in Pittsburgh, PA and was simply wondering how i should go about paying these, I haven't payed any amount on them yet but the first fees will be taken out on 7/27/09. How should I go about this? I HEAR NOTHING BUT INCREDIBLE THINGS ABOUT THIS WEBSITE, so I figured I should consult the PROS =) Please help

I have been using debt management out of florida for almost 3 yrs and im wondering if i can just pay my bills on my own with the plan already in place?I was told I would lose my depo that i made when i first signed up.Like i really trust that i will get that money back.Some of the numbers just dont add up and im told i need to update them.Why do i pay them money then?That's 29.95 i pay just to have them pay my bills.If i go on my own can i still keep the same agreement as long as im paying on time?

Just found this forum a week or so ago. You guys are great. I've learned a good bit already. My wife and I are wanting to do debt settlement. Combined we have near 50K in credit card debt. A lot of it was from our previous marriages which we got stuck with. We've been talking to Preferred Financial Solutions which is also known as Credit Card Relieve Now. I heard about them on the radio. They sent us the forms to read and sign to send back to see if we can get approved. They said we seem to be prime candidates for debt settlement.

what is custodial refund I got a check from wilshire credit corp for 180.oo said it was a custodial refund
